Finally, An Update...2003-02-15 - 7:46 a.m. So Wednesday we went to see The Hours. It was ok. I liked it more than MW, at least I'm guessing that's the case since he was snoring about halfway through. Ooh, but guess what I got before the movie... My Valentine's Day gift. It was only fair since he opened part of his the Friday before. Anyway... I got a heart-shaped sapphire pendant with little diamonds! It's beautiful! Plus, yesterday at work, I got the most gorgeous flowers! It has Bird of Paradise, orchids, roses, some purple flox-y looking stuff, and some yellow cross between daisies and sunflower type things. Really, really beautiful. Everyone at work agreed that I had the best flowers in the whole wing. LOL Valentine's downside? Well, y'all knew that I got MW some Cool Water cologne that he opened way early, but then I was stumped for the rest of his gift. Until I opened the JCPenney sale flyer. I saw the perfect gift for him. Thought I'd zip into the mall on my way home Thursday night and grab it. No dice. I called Penneys to make sure the catalog sale price was also good in the store. Nope. Had to order online so his gift won't be here for a couple days or so... I'm bummin', but I couldn't pass up the sale price. What I got him is really nice, and it was HALF OFF. This next part is mainly for Cholak, since after receiving a PM from him earlier, he's apparently very concerned about what MW and I eat... So Friday night MW shows up here around 6. Cam's already gone to his friend, Kelly's house, so we're all alone. He jumped in the shower, and I poured the champagne that was in the fridge because we never drank it on NYE. Sex ensued. My poor sheets. So after that, we decide to get dinner. We were going to do sushi take-out, but then MW decides he's in the mood for pizza. So I get him the pizza menu, and I start picking out my sushi selections. We ended up with $65 worth of food. I got 2 appetizers and 4 or 5 maki rolls from the Japanese place, and he got a 14" garbage pizza and an order of calamari from the pizza joint. We, of course, both ate a little (ha!) of everything. Only his calories counted though because he had Pinot Noir with his dinner, while I had a Diet Coke. LOL He was going to come over today and go shopping with me, (I got my tax refund yesterday) but then he found out yesterday that he had to work. He'll be over here around 7 though, and then we'll kick back for a while, then head to Shark City for to see the band called "Smack". Supposed to be good; we'll see. My sis and bro-in-law, Bob are meeting us up there. Becky, the not gay gym teacher and her boyfriend might be there as well, and the chick who does my hair's supposed to be there too. I'm sure we'll have fun even if the band sucks. Then tomorrow... MW's going to the gym early then coming here to go shopping with me. The plan is to get me a new computer desk, and a printer/copier/faxer/scanner. Oh, and I told him I'd buy him something purty too. LOL Then we come home, put the desk together - well, actually, he'll probably put the desk together while I start dinner. I decided to have my family over tomorrow for dinner. I have a prime rib roast in the freezer that I'm itchin' to cook. I'll have to do lots o' side dishes though, cuz Bob's a pig, and I'm not sure it'll be enough to feed everyone. That's all I got.
