My Boyfriend's Back.2003-07-07 - 7:52 a.m. So Bunn's back home and life is good. He left his mom's place on Marco Island around 10 o'clock Saturday morning. Somewhere along the way, he decided that driving straight through to Canton, Ohio (where his sister lives) would be a good idea. It's supposed to be a 23 hour drive. If my calculations are correct, he did it in about 20 1/2 hours, and that included a 1 hour nap at a rest stop. I was nervous knowing that he was out there driving on no sleep, but I was ever so ecstatic when he showed up at my house at 3:30 Sunday afternoon! Originally, I wasn't expecting him until around 9 o'clock that night. So last night was wonderful. After Kurt got done showing me all the pictures from his trip and showering me with presents, he hopped in the shower, and I ordered Chinese food. I ordered way too much. See, I didn't have a menu, so I was sorta guessing at what to get. $50 later, we have enough food for the next 3 days. At least. So we sit down to eat and we're watching The Majestic on cable when all of a sudden the hail starts. We got up and watched the storm for a while then decided to skip the movie in favor of sex. I missed him so much. After the afternoon roll in the sheets, Bunn was out like a light. I, however, wasn't exactly ready to turn in at 5:45. I got up, cleaned up our supper mess, finished some laundry, surfed the net, and talked to a couple people on the phone. Every now and then I'd go in and snuggle with Bunn for a few minutes... Then I watched Sex & The City and crawled in bed with my book. Well, technically, it's Kurt's book, but I get to read it first. It's another Carl Hiaasen one. Basket Case. I'm about halfway through and so far so good. Couldn't sleep last night for some reason. Think I'll go home early today. Tonight we're going to go drop off Kurt's work van at his office, go to his house to pick up his car and laundry, then come home to more homecoming sex (fingers crossed). Plus at some point today, he's got to go to the doctor. Seems he's been walking around with either Swimmer's Ear or a regular old ear infection for the past couple days. And ya know what? Driving for 28 hours with the windows down and the wind whipping around his head didn't help. Go figure. Men... Hasta! Looking back... Just Pix - 2005-02-08
