Mucho News For To Tell.2003-07-29 - 7:44 a.m. You know how I hate it when I get behind in my updates... Too much info to remember so I'm going to do a bullet point thingy with the highlights. Yes, I know it's the lazy way out - deal. - Went to Ohio for the weekend and had a blast. Cedar Point was awesome. Met Kurt's sister, Valarie; very nice. - Had a little fender bender a couple miles from Kurt's house on the way home from Ohio. Some guy rear ended us on our way there to drop off the boys. - Ran around doing last minute stuff on Friday before leaving for Vegas. - Went for electrolysis Friday afternoon. Bunn came with to hold my hand - I was terrified. I finally did something about the hairs that showed up on my boobs after I got pregnant. It was violently painful at times. I actually let a scream-like sound out at one point, and I never made a peep all through child birth. It hurt. Upside is that my boobs are now hairless. - Stopped at the nail place for manicures and pedicures after the electrolysis lady. - Got home about half an hour before the limo showed up. - Bellagio upgraded our room (we have no idea why) to a lake view so we got to watch the water show outside and have breakfast in front of our window with a view of the strip. - Got to Vegas around midnight. Unpacked and went downstairs for to lose lots of money. - Spent every morning after breakfast at the pool. Heaven, I tell ya! - Kurt's birthday dinner at Spago was the best! He ordered one of their specials for the day, an on the bone filet of tenderloin. He said it was the best piece of meat he's ever had. Except for me, of course. - Saw Rita Rudner after dinner. She kinda sucked. I was disappointed. - Saw the Rat Pack tribute show Sunday night. Now that was awesome! We both loved it! - Went to the MGM Grand and gambled after the show. Bunn was up about $1500 playing the $5 Wheel of Fortune machine. He ended up walking out with a grand in his pocket. Which he promptly lost the next afternoon at the Bellagio. - Checked out of our beloved room at 1 o'clock on Monday. They gave us a pool pass so we could lounge at the pool for the day since our flight didn't take off till midnight. We played at the pool, then showered and got ready, then went to the Bellagio buffet for dinner, then gambled more, then took off for the airport. - Got back to my house around 7 o'clock Tuesday morning. Slept like rocks till almost noon. - Went to Kurt's to pick up the kids. - Met Kathy and her boyfriend. Oh yeah, so after Kurt told her about me and she lied her ass off denying that she had a boyfriend, the next day she told him about Mike. Then proceeded to ask Kurt if Mike could stay for dinner Thursday night after she went on and on about how I was not to step foor in HER house. Then she called back later to ask if Mike could spend the night there because it was storming out. Yeah, whatever... So anyway, we all met. She's as phony as I imagined. Mike seems friendly enough for an unemployed HVAC guy with a DUI and no car who's over 40, has been divorced twice, and lives with his father. - Did I mention that Bobby came in the house and gave me a big hug hello? In front of Kathy? That just had to irritate the hell out of her... - Took the kids, got something to eat on the way home, went grocery shopping, stopped and got Kurt an ice cream birthday cake, and went home. - My mom, Mike, Krissy, Bob, and Haley all came over for Kurt's birthday. We ordered pizza. - Everyone left around 8:30 or so. We all packed up and headed back to Kurt's. We stayed there Tuesday - Saturday night. - Kurt's got a court date this Friday. He found out yesterday that Kathy's trying to get maintenance. What a joke. She had a job when he filed for divorce. She got laid off shortly thereafter. She didn't even bother looking for a job for months. She's still not doing a whole lot in that department. - They put the house on the market on the 21st. Kathy told the realtor to list it for $13,000 more than the realtor's market analysis suggested. Nobody's even looked at the house yet. Meanwhile, she's not paying ANY of the bills, and her and Mike are living there most of the time. - Speaking of Mike and Kathy... Did I mention that they were in a car accident a few months back? And that Mike's tools came flying out from the back of his truck and hit Kathy in the face while the truck flipped over 5 times, and Kathy was unconscious till she woke up in the hospital the next morning, and that Mike got a DUI, and that now Kathy's sueing the bar for over-serving him, and that this is the same bar that you need to be a member to get into, and that her friend, Rosie, bartends there and managed to get Kathy a "membership", and now they're not speaking anymore?
