It's Court Day!!!2003-08-01 - 7:22 a.m. So we spent the night at Kurt's last night with the boys. Nice evening. Kurt got home from work and napped for a while, and then when I got there around 7, he had dinner almost done. He grilled hot dogs and sweet corn, and had french fries and onion rings in the oven. Everything was yummy. I got there, started chopping up an onion and some tomatoes for the dogs, kicked Bobby's ass in a couple games of Gin, then we all sat down in front of the television to eat and watch Little Nicky. I thought it was going to be awful, but it was a lot better than I thought. Who knew... So anyway, I decided that I couldn't sit in traffic for 2 hours falling asleep on my way to work from his house again, so I developed a plan. The plan was to shower right before bed so I could just get up in the morning, wash my face, brush my teeth, put on makeup, do my hair, and be gone. Ya know what I realized as I was stepping out of the shower last night though? I forgot my deodorant. I smell so manly right now... So the alarm goes off at 4:10 this morning and Bunn leaps into action. After I hit the snooze button almost 3 times... Finally, we're both ready and hit the road right around 5:20. There's fucking traffic on 55 already! Mother of God - doesn't anyone sleep anymore? I hit a little traffic here and there, but ended up getting to work at 6:20. Did you know the cafeteria here doesn't open till 6:45? I had to sit and wait for my Grande Skim Mocha for almost half an hour... So today is Kurt's first court date where he actually has to appear. Fingers crossed. I can't wait to hear what happens. He's got to be there at 1:30 this afternoon. My plan is to be at his house waiting for him to arrive around 2:30. Figured I'd head over there and start dinner or something. I'm getting out of work today around 11 or 11:30, then heading home to pack more stuff for the weekend, then it's off to Bunn's till Sunday afternoon. Did I mention that I had a little child support scare? Yup - I thought that perhaps FoFY had lost yet another job. I got a payment on 06/30, and as of yesterday still hadn't received another... Finally showed up in my account this morning. It's so weird though... I'm supposed to get $110/week. That, of course, varies depending on his pay schedule, but it's supposed to work out to that amount. Plus I should be receiving $22 extra a week to cover his arrearage.
