Yep - The Sex Was Great.2003-08-07 - 11:02a.m. Can I just tell you how bored I am right now? I was so bored that I was geek-Internet-surfing. For me, that consists of cruising to Walgreens.com and checking out what's on sale, etc... Guess what the fuck I found out!!! Prilosec is going OTC on 09/21! Don't sit there pretending you're not as excited as I am. See, I take (took) Prevacid for GERD. GERD sucks by the way - don't ever catch it. LOL You wake up in the middle of the night just as bile/food/puke is cruising right up into your throat. I know - I paint quite the pretty picture. Anyhoo, I have it, and I was taking Prevacid for to treat it. When I ran out a couple months ago though, my doctor said I had to come in to be rechecked before he'd give me another refill. This would not be a problem if the mother fucker was in his office more than 16 hours a week. I kid you not. I actually picked up a sheet with his hours listed on it last time I was there and counted. 16. A week. Most of them while I'm at work. So I've been putting off the doctors visit and living on Pepcid. And this is why I'm so damned excited about Prilosec going OTC, because let's face it... Prilosec - Prevacid... What's the difference? So now instead of taking a half day off work to go visit my fairly incompetent doctor, I can just stock up on Pepcid for another month and a half and then switch over to Prilosec. I know I need a life - shut up. So last night we did not end up going to the winery, but I did end up having sex. Wine I can live without. It was rainy and icky when I got home and we decided just to run out and pick up El Famous Burrito food and hang out at home. We ate, watched some television, had sex, and then we were getting ready to watch The Family at 8, when we found out it wasn't on until 9. Fuck. I wanted to be asleep by 9. Anyway, we ended up watching The Real Roseanne Show while waiting for The Family to come on. She's nuts. By the time The Family came on, we were both so tired that neither one of us made it through the whole thing. Not even close. We were lying head to feet on the bed because Bunn's feet were killing him from work and I was rubbing them. Then he fell asleep. Then I fell asleep. Then he spazzed in his sleep and kicked me in the chest. This did not hurt so much as it SCARED THE BEJEEZUS outta me. So anyway, then I turned around and made my way up to the pillows. We pretended to watch the show for about 48 seconds and then we were both down for the count again. Didn't wake up till the alarm went off at 4:10 this morning. I'm going to Kurt's straight from work today. As I was tooling up the expressway this morning, I realized that I forgot to pack my curling iron. Guess I'm going to Target/Wal-Mart/Walgreens today at lunch in search of a new one. Should be interesting this evening. I'm going straight from work to the boys' football practice. Where Kathy will be. Maybe with her loser boyfriend. Did I mention that when they got in their little accident a few months ago that he was driving without a license? LOL I love the internet. I found the police blotter that told the whole story. Think I'll head out to lunch now... Hasta! Looking back... Just Pix - 2005-02-08
